Maria Sofia Bucarelli is a 3rd year Ph.D. candidate in Data Science at Sapienza University of Rome. Her research interests include generalization in machine learning and learning from noisy labels. She’s also interested in approximation properties of neural networks. During the second year of the Ph.D program she interned at Amazon for 6 months working on the topic of learning from noisy labels. She graduated with laude in Mathematics at Sapienza University with a thesis on Hopfield Networks.
