Giulia is a PhD student working on deep learning and algebraic topology applied to hypergraphs. Currently, she is an intern at Intel Labs’ Parallel Computing Unit. Before attending graduate school, she worked with the Biomedical AI team at NEC Laboratories Europe. Giulia has an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering from the University of Rome, La Sapienza, with an outstanding thesis on drug repurposing using network medicine for COVID-19 treatment.
